Triple Garage Gas and Oil Interceptors

Jackel offers Triple Garage Basins in a choice of filament wound fiberglass, either as separate basins set or secured together as one unit. Polyethylene structural foam basins are also available.

ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICE

Health and plumbing codes prohibit the use of any gas and oil interceptor for the disposal of volatile wastes into city sewers or private septic systems. Triple Garage Basins are designed to handle incidental wastes from washing vehicles or floors.

Gas and oil in the effluent from the interceptor or triple garage set basin shall not exceed the levels specified by the sewage treatment authority having jurisdiction, as promulgated by local ordinances and regulations.

Water and waste enters the first basin through a baffled hub port. Because volatile liquids are lighter than water, they float to the top and evaporate through a vent manifold. This system reduces the possibility of volatile substances causing an explosive hazard in
sewers or private septic systems.
